This program is a state funded program designed to help families of school age children who are coping with behavioral and emotional problems; serving all of Randolph County

Parents will be given the education and support they need to learn to better understand and improve their coping skills pertaining to their child’s mental health concerns.  Friends, relatives, teachers, and professionals will also be able to benefit through education and understanding.

·         TEEN STRESS

·         BEHAVIOR PROBLEMS

·         PARENT’S SURVIVAL TIPS

Support Groups  

THESE MEETINGS GIVE PARENTS A CHANCE TO MEET AND VOICE THEIR CONCERNS AND LEARN FROM EACH OTHER.  SUPPORT GROUPS WILL BE HELD MONTHLY BEGINNING AT TWO LOCATIONS IN ASHEBORO AND ARCHDALE.

 Asheboro support group

For families of school-aged children dealing

with mental health concerns

Where:  Asheboro friends meeting located at

230 E Kivett St, Asheboro, NC, 27203

 

 (downstairs in back of the church in Fellowship area).

When:  Once a month on the second Tuesday—same time and location

bullet

Time:  6:00—8:00 p.m.

*      Childcare will be provided

*      A light meal will be served

 

 

Ramseur support group

For families of school-aged children dealing

with mental health concerns

Where:  Jordan Memorial United Methodist Church

When:  Beginning Thursday March 10th and then will be held once a month on the second Thursday—same time and location

Time:  6:00—8:00 p.m.

*      A light meal will be served
